Moved...looking for new salon
I just moved to the New Hyde Park, Garden City South, Franklin Square area and need a new salon.
Can anyone recommend?
I'm white, with really thick, dry/damaged, somewhat curly hair. I always went to a dominican salon in the past, but im willing to go anywhere as long as they are GOOD.
Any recommendations are really appreciated!

My cousin works at the Palace in Franklin Square and she is amazing! She's been doing my hair FOREVER!! If you go there request Nicole or Galina - those are the only 2 I trust with my hair!

When I lived in Mineola I went to Nubest in Manhasset - pricey but I never ever had a bad experience.

Fox & Company in Floral Park. Lisa is my hair stylist - she's been for 10+ years. She's awesome.

I use Christine at Textures right in Garden City (Nassau Blvd)...she's one of the owners, used to work at Hairsay and is great!

Hairsay!! I haven't lived 'near' it in years and I still travel to go there.
April is AMAZING for color, though sloooooooow so allow yourself a lot of time. She's on maternity leave now but should be back by May-ish.
I use Heather for cuts, though I've seen Val's cuts and he does a great job too.
