Shower heads

We are re-doing two bathrooms, hall and master. We were planning on doing a sliding handheld as our only shower head (concept wise, we actually haven't looked at them) . A passerby overheard me telling the bathroom designer this and added his two cents, saying that was a mistake.
Does anyone have this in their bathrooms? Are you happy with it?

My mom has this and I love it. Growing up we always had a fixed shower head with a handheld option. I only have a fixed showerhead and I miss the handheld so much. If I use a really thick body wash, I feel like it is so much easier to rinse it off with the handheld. Next time I need to change mine, I am definitely going to try and convince DH to go with a sliding handheld.
