Everyone that goes to get this done on long island, When you get this done do the people use a new stick every single time? Do they double dip the sticks?
Do they wear gloves?
I go to a place in the city and they wear gloves and use a new stick every single time.
I am so scared of getting a disease from contaminated wax, lets say someone has herpes and they use the same stick, then they use that stick on you...it freaks me out
Where I go now, she uses gloves and never double dips into the wax. I wouldn't go if she didn't do that! She uses a special wax that is imported from France that doesn't use strips and it really doesn't hurt to remove it.

I go to Daisy Spa in Centereach. She uses gloves and doesn't double dip. She is very fast, clean and pain free.

I'd say $40-50 is normal
Rosie at Racine's in Islip is a-ma-zinggg. Clean, quick, and relatively painless. She wears gloves and uses a new stick.

I'm the same way! I used to go to Bliss in Soho and got skeeved at every place on LI I tried.
Until...
I found Sonia's Wax Plus in Roslyn (there are other locations too) and it is just as clean as Bliss! No double-dipping! They wear gloves!
It's about $50 and they offer different promotions.
Wow thanks for the rec! Gonna try there asap!
