Acres VS feet on MLSLI
How come pretty much most of the houses listed for Nassau show property size in feet (50x100, even they will write 100x200 etc) but in Suffox then list it in acres...even if it is only .12.
This confuses me!

A lot of Suffolk properties aren't perfect squares, including mine. I can't give an X by X dimension for my property.

THat's why I always used an acre coverter, just to get a rough idea. Google acre converter. But as you keep looking, you learn to know what .12, etc means. LOL

It's also a marketing tool. In Nassau properties are generally smaller. Psychologically, would you rather by a property thats 50x100 or .12 of an acre?
They generally start to list properties in acres when they get to be .25 of an acre or greater.
Just like the $999.99 v $1,000.00 theory.

YES ! I am getting good at it now! I am wise to just bc it says .12 its not any bigger than the ones lists as "#" x "#"
