I'm looking for 2 things

1. Eyeshadows that are less likely to look clumpy and gross after a few hours. My eyelids get oily (i guess) and i always get the crease.

2. A good masscara. From what a makeup artist told me once, I have cow eyelashes lol. They grow down and it's almost a miracle to have them curl lol.

Re: I'm looking for 2 things

1. You need a base. I use Urban Decay, I think it works the best, but there are a lot a great ones out there. I use that base and all of my drug store shadows stay perfect ALL day. No joke.

2. My eyelashes won't curl either. They aren't straight, they have a slight curl, but using a curler is useless. If you want to spend the money, Japonesque makes a heated lash curler, that might help the curl hold in your lashes longer, or else heat the curler with your hair dryer.

I agree with using a base. I like Urban Decay (the original in the purple tube) or MAC pant pots.

I also find MAC shadows to be the best at lasting, with Make Up forever, Urban Decay & Lorac as runners up, but it depneds on the shade.

Even with a primer, drug store Shadows don't really work for me.

For eye shadow I use Clinque Color Surge eye shadows.

For mascara I use either Sephora Atomic Volume or Clinque High Impact.

Base is absolutely what you need: if you have a good one it doesn't matter which eyeshadows you wear. I use Urban Decay and it makes the eye make up last all day!

Don;t know much about mascaras... I have a few that I got as GWP and I am not too happy with them.. Chat Icon

Re: I'm looking for 2 things

I add a little bit of concealer on my eyelids before putting on eyeshadow. It helps keep the eyeshadow on longer and doesn't let them get oily.

I love the L'Oreal Voluminous. I have the same problem, lots of lashes but face down. So I apply the mascara then start getting dressed. Once I am done and the mascara has dried I curl. It holds up pretty well.

lancome lash booster is a great lash base...you have to put it on the tops and bottoms of you lashes..and roll the brush to curl the lashes when you are putting it on the tops

i love mac eyeshadows and i also really like almay mineral eyeshadow..it lasts all day and looks crease free

Another vote for DiorShow mascara. A cheaper option is Cover Girl Last Blast. I love the thick brush (on both)!

MAC eyeshadows are great! maybe try using a make up base so you don't get that crease in your lids.

and i use maybelline mascara

I agree with this! *Just NOT the waterproof formula though- I have a very hard time removing it without plucking out a few lashes!

I use Urban Decay eyeshadow primer. Love it. As for your lashes, definitely try heating curler before using it. It does help.

For mascara I use Yves St Laurent. If you want one that's over the counter, Lash Blast is great!

Re: I'm looking for 2 things

I love Mac eyeshadows, but always, always use a eyeshadow base. They stay for me all day.
I have very long lashes that grow down and I like Falsies mascara by Maybelline because it curls them up. But...it is a very dramatic look. But its the only one that worked for me.
