Daycare in Maspeth, Middle Village & Ridgewood Area
I've been working since November and my mom has been taking care of DD. This morning, my mom and I had a huge fight. Its been too much on her and too many things going on and basically she just blew up at me. She even went as far a calling me a bad mother, not those exact words, but the sentiment was there. I'm supposed to start a new job on Monday, but I'm going to push back my start date because I need to look for day care and to boot, I have the flu.
I know there are some mom's on here from my area and I was wondering if you can recommended reasonable daycare.

My niece goes to The Learning Tree by Juniper Park and I think Christ The King has a daycare also.
ETA: I also think there's another place by Juniper called Books and Rattles.

There is a daycare off the corner on Metropolitan Ave & 73rd Place. Can't think of the name.

I think Positive Beginnings is limited to special needs children, but I may be wrong. Christ the King has a good program, there'e Learning Tree and Books and Rattles.
My son goes to Play and Learn on Juniper Valley Road and 70th Street. Its an excellent pre-school and they provide breakfast, hot lunches and snacks.

What the h*ll is wrong with me??? I really thought she went to Learning Tree...did she ever??
It's a good thing you never asked me to pick her up, she would've been waiting a LONG time, lol

DS is in Christ the King. I have been very happy with them.
I haven't heard about one on Mt. Olivet.
