Down Jacket for DH?
He wanted a north face down jacket, but the blue/black is sold out at macy's and it's $200

Where else can I get a nice down jacket???????

I know $200 is a lot, but DHs North Face is the warmest thing ever. If you know that's the one he wants then I would just splurge and get it.

This year we are all about Eddie Bauer.
For the money you get the most amount of European down (650 fill), windproof, waterproof - he loves it. We have been through 3 jackets this season already; North Face, EMS and more. I would check out for their sales as well b/c the coats was like 20% off.
I got the ladies version in plum and I love it.
There is one out east and one in Forest Hills. I called ahead and they held sizes for me.
He took the fake fur off it.

i ordered this for DH in graphite. we were looking for a new puffy kinda coat for him and Gap, Old navy, had nothing he liked.
I took a chance on this one and he loved it.
its light yet very warm.
they have other styles maybe you can find something here?

i have to agree with this... DW bought me a North Face last year and OMG its the best $200 ever spent!
