can we talk constipation??
It's REALLY bad this pregnancy. I didn't have a problem at all with my first. Tonight was terrible. I was in such pain and nothing was happening!  I def. have to get colace. I feel like I'm giving birth everytime I go. Sorry for the TMI, but I figured maybe other preggos can relate.

UGH!!! I feel ur pain!! All day terrible today. I could have definitely given birth at least 3x today with less effort...for sure! I have been taking colace too wth??!!!

I had it more in the beginning. . I really found that that following things help
- LOTS of water
- exercise
- lots and lots of veggies
- small cup of coffee (occassionally - really tried to do NO caffeing)
of course I had it worse in the first tri when I wanted NONE of the above. .
hope it gets better!

UGH.
I am in that boat! I have to take 3 colaces a day (50mg) and it BARELY helps me. I too found that drinking lots of water and incorporating ground flax seed helps!

Yup! Me too! I actually took Colace today, and I can't possibly drink anymore water!!! I'm going to float away! I tried prunes too. I'm going to get prune juice tomorrow.

My doctor said to warm up the prune juice for 30 seconds and then drink it. I haven't tried it yet..LOL

I am one year PP and I am still suffering...The only thing that helped me was shredded wheat.....I took everything there was to take. And ate as much fiber as I could. nothing worked until i started to crave frosted mini wheats and BAM...I was going once a day...Good luck!

Sounds appetizing!! I think I'm gonna try Metamucil. I'll try anything.
