What do you do with clothes you've had
for a long time, if they are still in good condition, and you still like them?
I have a couple of shirts that I like that still look good, but I've had them for years...
Just wondering if I'm the only one wearing shirts that are 5 years old...

Ugh my closet is filled with them! I finally gave my friend a pair of corduroy khaki pants that I knew I was never gonna fit into again. I always held out hope though! 
ETA: I kinda read it wrong, but I do have a few classic pieces that will never go out of style and are higher quality. A lot of my work clothes, actually.

I have clothes that I've been wearing for the past 10+ years. If they still fit & are in good condition, I keep them & wear them, I don't get rid of them just because they're old. I guess they're very durable because I tend to be hard on my clothes.

The only thing that would keep me from keeping something is if it was too small for me and I ABSOLUTELY did not think I would EVER fit into it again!

5 years?! That isn't that long, I have some classic pieces I got right out of college and are still holding on to them.....
I say as long as it still fits, is a "classic" style, and is in good shape. Go for it. But maybe ask your most stylish friend to make sure you aren't fooling yourself.
I guess I am a packrat! Recently I was getting rid of some stuff and had a black knit shirt with small thin stripes, pretty classic and still in good shape/condition. DH was like when did you get that - and I realized high school. I gave it to charity!

I still wear them if they are "instyle". Most of the stuff I buy isn't really in or out but basic stuff - so you can't tell they are that old.
