Does it bother you....
When the minute people get a BFP they drop this board like a bad habit? I don't think I will be like that because you ladies on this board talked off the ledge so many times ! Ofcoarse I am happy for anyones BFP it's a blessing but it just irks me. Sorry for the bitchfest........

eh i mean it doesnt really bother me that much but i do think it is nice when girls get their bfp and then come back from time to time to give us TTCers some advice.

it didnt bother me...
but i always posted on boards that technically werent for me (i posted on the LIW newlywed board before i was a newlywed, i posted on the pregnancy board before i was pregnant, i posted on the parenting board lol)...

I just started to board crash...there are some things on there that we can all relate too! I like hanging with the same crowd...I feel like I get to know some of the girls, so I'll move when you guys move!

I guess i miss the familiar names but i dont get ******...
i also think that once you get your bfp, you dont want to go parading all around the ttc boards, kwim
esp when people on here are getting bfn. personally i dont mind but maybe there are people that are sensitive to that sort of thing...

No because I never thought of it that way.
Besides it being a natural progression for the preggo to move on to the pregnancy board, I always thought of it more as them not wanting to parade around others who are still struggling to TTC.

When I got pg with DS, I came back to the TTC board to cheer on a few girls I connected with while TTC, or I would FM them. I felt bad answering too many posts because I felt like it was rubbing it in there faces, that I was pg.
This time around since I have been on this board since May, I have seen many posters split the second they get their BFP, and yes it is nice when they pop over once and a while, so I totally get what you are saying!

im still here. i wont go to PG til i see a heartbeat. ive been through too much, i know better... not every BFP means you go home with a baby  .
either way i see no reason to rush off and im sure ill be here answering questions even when im (hopefully  ) huge and preggo!

Yep, I agree. Its like the fun in this department is over and now the new fun starts in another department, which is pregnancy. Its nice to see them come on once in a while but Im not mad that they arent.

springsandra, i have to say i have always thought it so sweet that you respond to people's posts, especially those that deal with the long cycle nonsense. i am hoping to emulate your experience, esp bc i got my smiley on CD47.

to respond to the OP, i always think it is nice when the former TTC'ers come back to post, but i totally understand why they move onto the pregnancy board.

It doesn't bother me.. it's a natural progression to be posting more on the pregnancy board anyway
i'm not a board lurker, so for myself i wouldn't go over to pregnancy board until i'm pregnant (mainly because its too upsetting for me)
I can also understand someone not wanting to come back here and post too much for fear of offending some people that might be struggling with ttc'ing for a while. I don't see it that way, but i can understand if someone does
either way, i think anyone's experiences and advice are helpful, whether you're going through it now, or have at one time!
we're all here to help each other out right?

I think it is nice when girls continue to post on here from time to time. I just started lurking on pregnancy but I really want to go back to the home board. We are going to do a huge renovation this spring b/c we won't have a baby to worry about. I may not be pregnant but at least i am getting a new bathroom and kitchen! Lol
