Graco recalls Quattro Tour and Metrolite stroller!
Both of mine have been recalled due to 4 infant deaths, although im not sure what i should do, it didn't say what Graco is going to do about it...

It is only the 2006 and 2007 strollers...keep in mind anything made after 2008 as far as I know is fine and not recalled.

is the item number the same as the model #. I purchased one that's still in the box and nowhere on the box does it say "model" but only Item #.

I am too sleepy to figure this out. The picture is of the Quatro Tour? It looks like the exact stroller that came as my travel system. Is it different?

Obviously I need to check mine which is in DH's car at work right now....but in otherwords since I saw mine in 2007 when I got pregnant (it was purchased early 2008) likely hood is it may on that list? I am guessing the sitters will be too...

From what I read it looks like there is only a danger if you do not harness the child into the stroller (the risk is the baby getting trapped under the tray part). If you always strap your baby in, you have nothing to worry about.

Graco Quattro Tour strollers and travel systems made before November 2006 are subject to the recall. Metro Lite strollers and travel systems made before July 2007 are being recalled. They were sold nationwide between November 2000 and December 2007 for $100-$250

That's how I understood it too. Mine is from 2006, using on DD#2 now. I'll get the repair kit but I'm not too concerned about it since she's always strapped in.

Yes, older models there was less room b/w the tray and the seat, posing an entrapment hazard when the child was not strapped in. There were 4 infant deaths this way. How awful.
I have the newer model and there is a huge space b/w the tray and the seat, based on changes that were made in the last few years.
