Was i wrong? Dh related- dressing your 4yr old dd
So I lay out the clothes for my dd the night before but dh dresses her( well she dresses herself too ) and I get my ds dressed. Today I had leggings with guitars on them( crazy but SO cute) anyway I had a plain off white shirt. Dh yells in to me" the shirt has a stain, get me a new one" SO I go and look and it had a red mark maybe the size of a pen tip on the front of it in RED. So I said I dont think she has any other plain shirts. He says get anything. Well this went back and forth and I finally did find something that was plain and matched. He said I was being ridiculous and its better to not match then to have a stained shirt and kids might make fun of her for that but no 4 year old will make fun for not matching.
Who is right?
Petty, in the grand scheme of things I know.

My general rule of thumb is that if DS is not flipping out about what he wears, I don't get too upset about anything.
I would have left her with the stain if she goes to daycare. My DS usually comes home from school or daycare with much worse stains than that.

Honestly I don't think either is right or wrong, they both just different perspective to the same argument. He is OK with a mis-match and you are OK with a stain.

Actually, based on his reasoning about being teased, it's neither up to you, DH, or DD. It's up to the kids (potentially) teasing your DD. Unless he hears every detail about what happens during the day, he doesn't know what may or may not be an issue for DD.
As long as SHE is happy with what she's wearing, that's all that really matters.....

I don't really think 4 year olds will notice any of the above, but as they get older they'll be much more aware of mismatched clothes than of a stain.
