i'm sad...is anyone else after the lawn guy comes?

All my shrubs got a much-needed hair cut and my bush/flower thingy around my mailbox is all cut down for the fall/winter..my hostas were all dried up for the season, so they chopped those away, too..

my property looks great, but i hate seeing nature cut down I'd cry if I ever had to take down a tree.. I really wood. (pun intended)

I need to go get some mums or something asap. Anyone ever get like this?

We had our tree guys here a month ago & I was crying while they were cutting down one of my favorite trees. We also had some major work done - removal of bushes, transferring of bushes - I was all over the place the entire week before - should I? shouldn't I?.... Talk about a mess.

I was dancing the jig up my driveway today. I love nature and plants, but we were overgrown. I was so happy, I baked my landscaper cookies tonight to give him tomorrow.


I will say that at moments, looking around the yard, I gasped, but thought about how much healthier the plants will be in the spring. DH saw this reaction and said "this is his job and he knows what's best for the plants"
