50 but we bought when we werent in the house yet. We need to mount it and then Ill tell you if Its big enough.

52, I would not go for anything bigger in the space we have.
same here... the tv fits perfectly in the wall space...
i just wish it was a flat screen and not a rear projection...
otherwise i love the screen size

We have had 52 inch Sony Bravia for 4 years and i think it's big enough. I wouldn't want bigger. I can see 42 inch being to small but 60 sounds too big. Probably depends on the space though.

70" but my DH is crazy about tv's and we have HUGE bedroom. Believe it or not, it still looks lost in the bedroom!
Ha Ha! Ditto! DH is the same way. If it were up to him we'd have 70" TV in every room including the bathroom.
70" in the basement is our biggest
60" in den
not sure about our room. maybe 40 or 50" DH doesn't think it's big enough

We have a 52" in the living room, it is more than big enough.
We have a small TV - flat screen in the bedroom (it's hidden in the closet) and a small 20" in the guest room, we rarely use.

60 and we should have gone a bit bigger. It looks great but we could have definitely done bigger. DH wanted to but I was the one that said over 60 was too much

We just got a 47' for our living room. I think its totally fine, but I wouldnt of minded going up to 50' (it was a present for DH from my dad so I didnt want to be a debbi downer since he seemed really happy!).
For our bedroom & porch we are going to get a 36'.

We have a 55" in our living room and it's big. I couldn't imagine going bigger in that room.
It really all depends on the size of your room.

right now we have a 50" but we are doing a home theater in the basement and we are doing a projector wth a 90-100" screen.
I personally love big TVs I would go with a 60" I think it is because I am blind! LOL

36" I think. I thought it was giant when we got it, but it has grown on me. Our room is narrow, we don't need bigger.
I can't imagine 50 & 60 inch televisions in a living room. Maybe if we had a den or basement, but in the living it would just be too much of a focal point. It's a living room, not a movie theater.
(I had a 13" television in my living room for years! I kinda miss it, but it was hard to see football scores!  )

We are very happy with the 52. We actually could go bigger, but I wouldn't. The 52 is perfect viewing for movies and shows.

Our last tv was a 56. Our current tv is a 55. Once you go big, you can't go small bc it's so hard to get used to.
I say 52-55 is good. 60 is really big if you think about it.

We have a 46" Samsung in the living room and a 40" Sony in the den. They are both great quality and each the perfect size for the size rooms they are in. I personally think 46" is big enough.

we have a 52 in the bedroom and living room.
They were a nice size when we had them in our house in SC because the rooms were alot bigger.
Here in NY - they seem a little big (especially the bedroom).
