where can I get a "cheap" table pad
for my dining room table - not the "custom" ones the furniture places sell for hundreds of dollars but something cheap to put under my tablecloth...

Bed bath and beyond or even check our Marburn.
I would imagine Target should carry them as well.

We got a custom table pad and it cost just about $100.

We used this company. DH sents in his measurements (along with a trace of one of the edges since our edges are rounded) and within two weeks we had our pads. They have a magnet lock on the insides so they don't slide and the pads themselves are super light.
