What do you do when you have to take a shower?
I have been waiting for DH to come home to take one but now that I can drive I want to take one sooner.
It seems like everytime I want to go in the shower, Andrew starts crying.
How do you do it?

Wait to he is napping and put him in the bouncy seat on the floor in the bathroom. That is what I did.

I secodn bouncy sit. We had a kick and Play that he LOVED! I would put him in it right by the bathroom entrance an dkeep the door opened. HE would sit in there happy and content and I would be taking a shower!:)
Now is a whole other story.

I use to just put Julia in her bouncy when she was little, but now I just put her on the carpet in the bathroom with some toys.

I put Noah in his crib with a bunch of toys and his tiny love mobile on...he will be happy there for about 20 minutes!
I leave the door open so that I can hear him, our house is tiny and upstairs there are only 4 rooms.

I put her in her bouncy seat awake or sleeping, but the vibrate function on and she's gives me 15 minutes to take a shower, then while I get ready I talk to her, or she' s asleep by the time I am out. We've been doing that since she was a week old.

In the beginning I was taking one every other day or every two days because I was constantly nursing him. Once he started to take naps more I would rush and take one while he was asleep. Now that he is two months old I either put him in the bouncy seat which gives me until the music stops so its a fast shower and then I put it on again and its give me enough time to get ready. Sometimes he cry's while I am in the shower and I rush to finish.

I wait til she is napping. Or I bring her in and take the quickest shower known to man while she sits in her bouncy seat usually crying. Or I take them at night when DH is home. Today I jumped in really quick while DH was still home (about 7am).

When she was really young I showered before DH left for work.
As she got older I would put her in the travel swing in the bathroom while I showered.
Now she naps in the AM so I shower then or bring her in the shower with me. Kill 2 birds with one stone that way.

at that early of an age, I'd wake up earlier than DH to take one before he went to work in the AM and if he had the closing shift (retail) it was not an issue.
Now....if I can pull myself out of bed while she's sleeping I'll do that, but otherwise, it's in the bouncy seat with the TV on, but before she had the ability or interest in tv, I'd put the seat in the bathroom and talk to her.

Most of the time, I showered before DH went to work or when Nate took his morning nap. also when he could sit up, I would put him on the floor in the bathroom with some toys.

When I just had 1 child, I would just put him in his bouncy seat outside the bathroom door- no problem. Now I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I just wait till my husband comes home at night! Much easier!!
