Rethinking Vacay...
So..we were thinking of going to Paris but are going to hold off for now...we are doing Northern Ireland and Dublin (sorry if that's redundant-DH is going for work and I'm tagging along...) and figure for our vacation in August, we would want to stay stateside...any recommendations for somewhere in the US where we can relax but still have tourist time? We would love to go back to Carmel Valley in CA, but the prices are insane...we are throwing around doing a few days in Chicago and then coming home and driving to Maine, perhaps..any other ideas out there? TIA!

We have not been to Vancouver, but are also throwing around the idea of Alaska...we are so indecisive and really need to sit down and figure it out!

Some places in the US/Canada that are on my must-see list:
Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Glacier National Park, Montana
Quebec
Vancouver Island
Savannah and Charleston
Sedona and Phoenix
I loved Muir Woods in CA and hope to get to Yosemite sometime. I also loved Santa Barbara and Carmel and the whole Coastal Pacific area of CA.
