need recommendations re: SUVs
hi everyone
i have a car, and am thinking about getting a truck... need more room for baby stuff etc.
can you recommend your SUV and if you dont mind, telling me how much you pay each month for it (if you leased it)
not to be annoying, but if you could tell me also what your truck has in it- leather, cd changer, sunroof?
thanks guys!

I have a Subaru Tribeca...and I LOVE it! I have leather seats, 6 CD changer, sunroof...no navigation. This truck is fantastic in the snow and extremely safe. I pay $507/month, and it is well worth it. It is very roomy, and I feel very confident in this truck with a little one on the way!

Re: need recommendations re: SUVs
We have a trailblazer but its an 04. they don't make them anymore, they make the Chevy Traverse-which I absolutely LOVEEEEE.
My friend just got one and it has 3 rows with cloth, no extras ( just basic power windows, doors) sunroof etc. I think she pays about $415 a month.

I have a Ford Explorer and have been very happy with it!!! We don't really have any extras except the third row, we just bought the DVD player that hooks to the back of the headrests.

Re: need recommendations re: SUVs
We have a Mazda CX9, but around 2500 down and pay 420 a month.
We have the V6 touring edition with the Bose package, leather, moonroof, third row, power liftgate and the backup camera.
it.
The CX7 was much more affordable but DH said it wasn' fast enough for him...

Re: need recommendations re: SUVs
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Toyota Rav4!!! I have the Limited V6 with leather seats, sunroof, 6 CD changer, heated seats, etc. etc. It's an amazing truck!!! Drives like a car, is fast as H-E-L-L, and has a ridiculous amount of storage space and leg room. I LOVE it and haven't had a single problem with it in the 3 years I've had it. It's always rated as one of the best small SUV's on the market today and I can't say enough good things about it.
We paid $31,000 for ours, we put $9000 down and our payments are $454/month.
EDIT - The new Rav 4's offer a navi system now too.

Re: need recommendations re: SUVs
We have a minivan now but before we had our DS we had a Jeep Commander. I LOVED that Jeep so much. It had 3rd row seating, although it was kind of useless for anyone over 10. Ours was loaded with leather, 1 moonroof and 2 sunroofs, DVD, all power, etc. The gas mileage was not great but it wasn't horrible either. It was a very smooth drive, it drove like a sedan. It was also very affordable. If we had not have had another baby, we would still be driving that car.

Same. We just bought a 2010 Santa Fe and I LOVE IT!!!! It has so much room compared to my old car. I can fit 3 car seats in the back (no extra room but still) I have only done this 1x but it is possible! My payment is more but I put alot less down and bought an exted warranty so the car is covered bumper to bumper for 10 years!
ETA: when looking, i looked at the Ford Edge, Mazda CX7 & 9, Jeep Grand Cheorkee, Nissan Murano, Chevy Equinox.....And just loved the santa fe more than all the others! GL!
