SUVs - recommendations needed?
I am looking to get a bigger car and am looking at SUVs. I need a backseat that can accomodate 2 carseats, but can also fit an adult passenger. I would like a 3rd row, but it isn't absolutely necessary.
Any recommendations?
I have looked at the Honda Pilot (which I loved, but didn't really want to spend $35k) and the Nissan Pathfinder.
TIA

I would always stick with Nissan...
I am also in the market, and looked at jeeps, brand new, it didn't drive as well as my Pathfinder that has 100K miles on it. Nissan will give you the most quality for the $$$.
Good Luck!

Re: SUVs - recommendations needed?
We have a Nissan Xterra and LOVE IT!!! And people who drive it or in it always comment on how much they enjoyed it.
The trunk is HUGE and there's even storage on the roof (aside from the roof rack there is a compartment up there too).
The back seat is roomy... I've fit kids back there (with booster seats... never an actual car seat) as well as grown men.
Gas mileage is amazing... the ride is smooth... and you definitley don't feel like you're driving a truck (which is key for me and my little 5'2 self).

We have a Trailblazer and love it. Not sure if it would fit 2 carseats AND an adult in the back seat though. However, they do have the XL and that has a 3rd row

2 car seats and adult is a hard find... 3 rows of car seating is probably what your looking for.
Look at the GMC Acadia...i wish i had one..hopefully, it will be our next crossover.

Mitsubishi Endeavor - We have an 07 with front wheel drive.
The interior is extremely roomy.
The back seat is very large.
There is no 3rd row though.
Great on gas for a V6
5 year 60k mile warranty
So far it is an excellent truck
I recommend LEO from Wantagh Mitsubishi.
No pressure salesman.

Re: SUVs - recommendations needed?
I have the Pathfinder and really do love it. The only thing is when the 3rd row is up, the trunk space is limited. But it's a great SUV with lots of room and some great features.
I know you said SUV, but I would suggest checking out the Town & Country minivan. I know a couple of people who have gotten it and LOVE it. I think something like that will grow with you more than an SUV will, especially because of the features it has.

I just got a Yukon and it is pretty roomy. It has bucket seats in 2nd row and then a 3rd row.

My step-father just bought the new GMC Acadia.. It's really big inside, but doesn't look huge from the outside... it's a really nice truck.
He got the bench 2nd row, but you can get captain seats as well. It also has a 3rd row that's pretty roomy..

We have a Jeep Commander. We bought it because of the 3rd row seating. I have no complaints!

Mazda CX-9.
We're looking at getting the CX-7 which is the smaller version of the CX-9. The CX-9 has the third row seating and is very reasonably priced.
Good luck!!

We have the Chevy Traverse.. captains chairs behind the drivers seat and a collapsable 3rd row in the back. Great car.. love the room!!
OneOfEach has the Acadia and she raves about it.. I love the look of that truck as well!
