Double Bubble/Pyloris Stenosis

They said my baby has a double bubble most likely caused by pyloric stenosis or duodenal atresia. My dr is scared b/c he doesnt know much about it and is scared he isnt caring for me properly. Anyones babies have this?

I'm sorry I dont know anything about this.

But i do think it is strange that your dr. said he was scared. He should have at least referred you to someone who could handle caring for your baby. I would start looking for a new doctor if I was you!

I would ask to be seen and /or have an sonogram by a perinatalogist. I could be that you won't know what it is if it is anything until the baby is born. If it makes you feel better I had pyloric stenosis as a newborn and had surgery at 6 weeks old. I have no long term effects besides a small next to my belly button.

No, I think she means Doctor as well...

I don't think it is that strange, he probably doesn't have experience with it and would like you and DC to see another doctorChat Icon Chat Icon
