Gift for someone studying abroad?
My niece is in culinary school and will be spending 5 months in Italy. Aside from stationary....what can I get her before she leaves?

Maybe a basket of things she would need? Adapters, a travel book, toiletries (you can't get some stuff there), some kind of rail pass that she can use to travel, a money belt, hostel sheets, a backpack, an Italian dictionary, things like that.

This is a great idea! I also studied in Italy for a few months and I got a few journals which was great. I used them as mini scrapbooks!
