no i wouldn't be...
i had an elderly lady in target yesterday ask me if tommy was a boy or a girl  (meanwhile he was wearing his thomas tank outfit)...she said he is just so beautiful - i said thank you!

Not at all. My son is very pretty.
I would probably be taken aback if I had a girl and someone called her handsome though.
