How do I stop Breast Milk Production?
I decided not to BF or pump and BF.
What has worked for you ladies who have stopped to stop the flow of breast milk?? My nipples are sooo sore right now. I hand expressed some milk this morning in the shower but right now my boobs feel heavy.

It worked! YOu have to change them every couple of hours when they wilt, but it really did the trick!
Avoid hot water in the shower!

I never did anything- just used the breast pads in bra- stopped on its own

i used sudafed (read that somewhere) and just ibuprofen for the pain...it took a few days for the fullness/swelling to go away.
i also read not to express any milk b/c u keep producing...i just wore pads for the leaking.

same here
same here - it took awhile for them to stop completely, but the pain stopped in a couple of days. also, as pp said, i would not hand express anything - that will make you produce more. also tight sports bras help.

Nothing. Do not hand express. It will be really painful (especially when the baby cries in my case) but after a few days it will go away. No hot water on them either. Wear tight sports bras.

that's what I did. When I decided to stop, I had my humongous boobs in a sports bra that was at this point probably 2 sizes too small, 24 hours a day. They went down in a few days.
