O'ing and OPK
I have a question.
Has anyone ever got a positive opk a day after they thought they ovulated?
I thought I o'd on Saturday CD17 (had excm all day) and I got a positive opk Sunday CD18 (had ewcm only in the very morning when I got up - could be leftover from bding the night before). Then when I took anothr opk the next morningcd 19 it was negative.
Any help. I am so confused. Which day do you think I ovulated: cd17, cd18, or cd19 (Monday).
So confused!

Re: O'ing and OPK
the posistive OPK tells you that you will probably O in 12-36 hrs. And you can have EWCM as much as 5 days before you O. I usually start with EWCM on CD10 and dont O until CD13-CD14. From the info you gave me I would say you O'd on CD19

Re: O'ing and OPK
I was going to say the same thing. The test just shows you a window of when you could O...so it's not really an exact science.

I agree - probably CD19. Unfortunately OPKs don't confirm that you O'ed. Only temping will tell you that you definitely O'ed and when.
