Almost 6 months and waking at night again...

Almost 6 months and waking at night again...
What the heck is going on? For the longest time DS was sleeping from 7:30-6am. But since last week, he's now waking anywhere between 1-3am for a bottle. At first i try to just rub his hand or his chest to get him to go back to sleep before resorting to food but he continues to cry so i give him the bottle.
Is this normal at this age? He's definitely teething so could that be waking him up? What can i do to help him sttn again?

They go through a growth spurt around 6 months - w went through it and even now he still wakes every now and then for a bottle (he's 6.5 months).

It's probably teething. If you can, I'd try to avoid getting him used to a bottle in the middle of the night again. Then he might start waking out of habit.

Just about every month DD does this for a few nights in a row... then she goes back to STTN. We always try rocking her back to sleep first and usually she will go back, but if she doesn't or if she's up less than an hour later i'll just feed her and she'll go back to sleep until morning.

Same problem here suddenly ( times TWO) and i wanna scream. I think ours is teething too, but then they act like they are starving and I am scared I'm establishing a habit by feeding them.
Hopefully its a phase for you and I!

is he eatting oatmeal or any foods yet? maybe hes hungry and needs more than a bottle?
