Need advice for what pool to buy for DD please!

DD will be 3 this summer. I've yet to find a pool that we like for the backyard.

First year we had the turtle sandbox/pool-- worked fine, but obviously too small for now.

Last year, I got one of the big hard plastic pools with the steps and a mini-slide from Walmart for like $40. In theory it was a nice pool....but when I got it home, there was a big crack in the bottom (not sure if it was like that when I bought it or if I damaged it with the MINIMAL bending I had to do to get in in the minivan). So we tried to use it, tried taping the hole, etc...but it just didn't ever work and would slowly leak water.

What the heck kind of pool do I get??? Chat Icon Chat Icon I think I posted asking about this pool from One Step Ahead last year too but I don't think anyone had used it. I like that it's collapsible so it's easy to store for future years (unlike the hard plastic pools), but how DURABLE is it?? Chat Icon

DH doesn't like keeping things on the lawn b/c it kills the grass Chat Icon so this kind would be nice since we could empty it and move it off (or I have the option of putting it on the deck actually, so I wouldn't have to move it).

I wish it had a cover though Chat Icon

I get my pools from Target. I buy a new one every year. They are the big blow up types that have a slide and a water spray. After DS is done with it I normally drain it and hang in upside down over the lounger to keep it clean and buggie free.

How do you inflate it? We had an inflatable one at one point and it broke our portable air compressor Chat Icon And does it stay inflated the whole summer, or do you have to keep inflating it due to the heat shrinking it?

Thanks!

Yes, we have one of those electronic air compressors. Every once in a while we have to put some air in it. Not really an issue. DS also love the sprinkler. Chat Icon
