OMG!!!
From the Stony Brook Hospital website
Update:
Temporary Restriction Lifted
Since the prevalence of H1N1 influenza in our community is currently subsiding, we are lifting the restrictions that were temporarily put into place concerning the age of children permitted to visit inpatients at the Hospital.
I am soooo happy about this I can't even tell you

LB that's wonderful news!!! Think its too late for me to switch hospitals  Well it gives me hope that maybe Winthrop will lift it too before I give birth. You must be so happy.....I'd know I'd be crying

No, just Stony Brook - some hospitals have lifted the ban, some haven't. You can check the website where you are delivering

I am glad they did it officially. When I was at labor and delivery in January the nurses told me that they had lifted it but that it wasn't official yet. They let my DS up.
I am so glad that DS can come by now and not have to go a few days without me.

I am so excited for all you ladies with DH already.
But not excited for myself, I have NINE nieces and nephews and I was kind of hoping to have some PEACE and QUIET in the hospital Oh well!
