basement update
DH installed out new banister (he sanded, stained, urathaned etc..) I think he did a great job.
Now paint is going up on the wall!!!  I cant wait for rugs to cover up those gross floors
before...

that bannister is gorgeous!!!!!!!
we want to do over ours exactly like that but i don't know if we can afford the wrought iron so we might keep the white wooden spindles we have - but we want to stain ours dark like that - it's just going to be A LOT of work so i am scared to start! 
really is looking fantastic!

thanks! no it isnt the original. we bought an oak railing and iron bars. it took Dh about a week or a little more but he mostly worked on it after work and the weekend.
