I do this look constantly...I have a great nude gloss and liner from guerlain...my coloring is very similar to angelinas...very dark hair and light eyes, and I have huuuge lips that even if I don't do a heavy eye, the second I put a dark lip color on me, I look like I'm wearing a ton of make up so I tend to do the nude lip a lot..
I think that's why Angelina wears this look a lot too. Dark/bright can be hard to pull off on very full lips, especially with lighter skin.
Also, I wanted to add, that it seems that adding a little blush helps. In the pics I don't like, the blush is either too bright (Kim Kardshian) or non-existant (models).
yes def, if there is no blush i looke washed out..yep, if I wear a dark lipsticki I literally have to just wear mascara bc I look like I caked on the make up...I also have large eyes soo everything just gets amplified...
