I wouldn't sleep with someone when I didn't feel comfortable talking to him about sex. Where do you see this going if you can't communicate with him? I'm not one for random sex tho.

There are lots of men that will do everything but have intercourse. They think that they are "ruining" her in some way.
I would talk to him. Find out what the hesitation is although I don't know why you are in such a hurry to get rid of the alternative

Wow Erod really wants her board...she went through all the trouble of convincing a friend to post an "intimate" question.
I kid, I kid.
Seriously though, to answer your question. I personally would NOT discuss this with him. I would maybe ACT on it (i.e. YOU initiate the "consumation" part) if I felt comfortable. You can try that if you are comfortable with initiating.
As for me, I much prefer the man to initiate...and to avoid any association with the words "cheap slut" So if I were in your shoes, I would just wait it out and drop hints with body language. If he's not too quick on the uptake we could be waiting a while before we consumate but oh well. Like PCD says "You want it bad but oh well".

why not take the initiative yourself? personally, i think oral sex is A LOT more intimate than sex and since you have no problem w/ that you should feel at ease approaching this situation.
