looking for a dr
Can anyone steer me in the right direction towards a dr in the manhasset area that takes GHI?

The center for human rerproduction at NSUH takes GHI. There are a dew different doctors there. I see Dr. Cohen.

I go to Dr. Brenner at LIIVF in Lake Success. I love it there! The staff is amazing.

I agree. They take GHI and I saw Dr. Hershlag. Highly recommend this group. They were nothing but wonderful

I agree. They take GHI and I saw Dr. Hershlag. Highly recommend this group. They were nothing but wonderful
i agree - i see dr hershlag also and i love him!

Thanks ladies.. I'm starting to get scared about the costs and what my insurance will and won't cover.. but in the end if results are produced I guess it's all worth it!

I just got a letter from LI-IVF about some financial options (grants and such) for those who have insurance, but are not covered for fertility treatments. Any RE's office that you go to should be able to give you some information about ways to finance or possibly get grants. Good luck!

I agree. I just started going there and so far I have seen 2/4 docs and the nurses have been great. I saw Dr Gerald Scholl initially. 516-562-2229

Do you have any idea what kind of issue/issues you are dealing with yet? That might be important in who you choose to see. Also, I strongly suggest making consults with several doctors that take your ins to see if you click better with any of them then others. GL!!
