what color drapes would you do with this bedding?
There are no matching curtains to it, so I need to buy seperately. I dont want it to be matchy matchy anyway.

white or black. just watch that you don't get seomthing that takes away the beauty of that bedding. it's gorgeous.

I would do something in a creme color if you don't want dark. If you want dark I would try to get the red/orangey color.

What does your actual bed look like? My first reaction was something that matches the headboard...then it will all blend in and not take away from the bedding set.

That doesn't look like white, but more of off white and I think it will be hard to match the whites.
I actually think brown panels would look great.
I am not sure if it is my computer screen but the wall color you are thinking of doesn't look like it would go with the bedding. I think something in the mocha family, whether it be light or dark and then brown drapes would look great.

thanks for all the suggestions. The walls are going to be a soft pumpkin with the spiced red bedding. My whole house is red and orange in some way...I love it. My old apt had orange walls and red couches and I just miss the color combo, its bold, but Im hoping it works out like it looks in my head, LOL!

Nice. Is the bedding white or off white? I guess you could go with a light tan color for the drapes as well. Or white or off white would keep the room feeling lighter, if that is what you want. Can't wait to see your room done. It's going to be gorgeous. You have great taste.

Aww thanks! So do you! I always think we should both get our interior decorator license and go into business bc we love this stuff so much!

I cant WAIT to redo our bedroom, Ive hated what we've "done" to it since weve moved in. Im currently on my 4th bedspread in 3 years to try to help it. Ive decided it just needs a complete overhaul!
hey and if your up for a challnege, Im also in need of a inexpensive rattan floor vase for some awesome branches I found to put in the room.

What color is your furniture? The soft gold might be too many colors. Red, pumkin, white and gold. Have you looked at all the colors together? Go onto Benjamin Moore and see how the colors look together. Maybe the best thing to do is wait until you get the bedding and see if it's white or off white in the bedding. Paint the room, put the the bedding on and work from there. Once you see it in the room you might get inspired for the drapes at that point. Just a thought.
