Non-alcoholic drinks that look alcoholic

I remember a thread on this, but I can't find it. We're going out Saturday and I don't want to drink even though I'm only in the 2WW. I HAVE to drink so I can't use medication excuses or anything like that. Give me some ideas.

sprite or seltzer can look like a vodka tonic or gin and tonic

cranberry juice could be a vodka cranberry

ginger ale could be captain and ginger..

just make sure the bartender puts them in a smaller, cocktail glass

My normal alcoholic drink is club soda vodka and a splash of cranberry. If I'm preggo on NYE I plan on just leaving out the vodka, no one will notice a thing!

Ask for a coke in a cocktail glass with lime--it'll look like a rum and coke.

Depends where you are:

Coke, cranberry juice both work.

If you go to a better bar/restaurant, you can order a non-alcoholic beer & put it in a glass. Since I started asking... all have it... and it doesn't taste half bad!
