aawww thanks!!! he actually got an earlier flight so instead of being home at 11, he'll be home at 9. i can't waiti!!!!!!!! and i was a good girl and didn't tell anyone else yet!! even though my sister did ask if i was preggo. she knows we're trying so that question wasn't too out of the ordinary. i of course told her i don't think so, i'll know monday.

yes i made a shirt for our dog (see album) that says "i'm going to be a big sister august 2010".i have my digital camera charged and ready to go. as soon as i hear him pull in the drive way i'm going to set the camera up on video mode and go to the front with the doggie. i'm soo excited! i feel like a lil girl on christmas morning!! i think its funny that he has no clue either since over the weekend i was whining about how i think i'm out again and he was like don't worry it will happen when its supposed to happen.

LOL!! i am stalking his flight on the delta website and he landed at 7:51. we're about an hour from the airport. so at 8:30 i will put the shirt on my dog and wait. only 1 more hour to go!! i'm so proud of myself for not spilling the beans to him over the phone or anyone else for that matter. i wonder if this is how he felt the night he proposed to me???

good morning ladies!!!! of course it went extremely well. Here's how it happened-
I had my dog's shirt on her at like 9:30. I heard Dh pull in the drive way about 9:45 so we both go to the front door and i see there's no lights on in the foyer or hall, so no point in using the video. i open the door for him, turn on the light in the foyer and the dog is jumping on him as usual and before the door is even closed behind him i say look at her new shirt she has something to tell you. and he was like i can't read it cause she kept jumping. so i hold her still, he reads it aloud and says "i am going to be a b... b. . . big sister????????????" then he looks up with a huge smile on his face, probably as big as the one he had on his face when he proposed and when we got married. i said yup, i'm pregnant!!!!! and we just start hugging and kissing each other uncontrollable. Then he was like OMG i'm in shock this is such an awesome surprise. i said don't worry i'm still in shock too. at this point we're both shaking and smiling like happy parents to be. i say thank god i finally got to tell you, do you know how hard this was for me to keep a scerect?? i said i knew since tuesday night!!!! he was like wow, good job!! i had no idea!! then about an hour later he was like so anything else going on?? and we just started cracking up.
Then when we were falling asleep we talked about waiting till c-mas to tell only our immediate families and then in february we'll make the big announcement. it was cute he was rubbing my belly when we fell asleep and kept telling me how much he loved me. and of course the dog was laying in bed resting her head on my belly. i swear she senses the hormone changes and know i'm preggers with her lil or

That is such a great story!!! I am so glad that you were able to hold off and tell DH first. I think I would have a hard time with that.
