Where I stand

where I stand

So after a m/c ...a little while to recover, and 2 months TTC I am officially waving the white flag..lol...I give up on trying to be in control of this process...
No more counting days, no more OPK's and I am trying not to think about being pregnant. It's too much...and its not working...so if you read my blog post you'll see I am getting babies OFF the brain...and going with the whatever happens happens approach. I think it will help my sanity!

I agree. Sometimes I think it's like waiting for water to boil—it always seems to happen a lot sooner when you're not paying attention.

I think you are wise to do that. I mean, you know my situation. This month we honestly were not trying at all and it happened. How nice not to stress with OPKs & temping and scheduling BD time. Not to mention reading into every little symptom and fighting yourself NOT to test too early. All that stuff just really gets to me. I think you'll enjoy just relaxing through the process.

I thought it was very well written (as always ) I really hope that you relax and de-stress for the upcoming month. I know its hard. Hopefully with the holidays coming up you will have a distraction and things will just happen naturally


You know I definitely believe in being relaxed I always have you in my prayers Jen. Youre a great person and have been a great friend to me. You deserve this and it WILL happen for you!!

I threw my hands up in the air this month as well!I can honestly say I feel much less stressed than I have in a while.

Wow that was very well written and I really enjoyed reading that b/c as I read it... I also realized everything that you were saying was true. God has control over everything and he knows what lies ahead for all of us. I always believe that everything happens for a reason, but sometimes its a tough pill to swallow when you want something so bad.

I wish you the best! I hope that you get a BFP soon and maybe without the stress, it will happen

Thanks for sharing!!! It is one of the manys things in life that is out of our control.

I have been trying to be stress free this month too. No more OPK, baby aspirin, mucinex....NO MORE!! lol. I think the more we obsess over it the more it takes over our mind.

Ya...realizing that really put me at piece...I was at a christening this past weekend and the priest said "god knows you are pregnant before you do" and it's so true...I mean people get pregnant by BDing like 1 time!! I mean if that doesn't say that that person was SUPPOSED to get pregnant I don't know what does...

I just wanted to offer you some hugs Jen! None of this has been easy. I agree with you, sometimes we need to relax and just let God work his magic. We live in a society, where we test, test, test; we google every symptom from sore breasts to excessive saliva. I can't believe symptoms I have created just to give myself hope. Sometimes I just laugh and think about how times must have been for our parents and grandparents without all this baby craziness. I wish you the best of luck in the next month with your relaxing and stress-free baby making!
