Chair rail w/ shadow boxes
I have an open floor plan where my dining room an dliving room have a connecting wall with no separation. We fist wanted to do a chair rail with shadow boxes in the dining, but it would look weird if we just stopped it, does anyone also have it in their living room? I would have the top half of the wall a tan color and everthing white fromt he chair rail down.

I have it in my entryway and love it  My gf has an open floor plan and has it on her diningroom and it just stops where her livingroom meets the diningroom. It doesn't look bad

It does look beautiful, I see where it stops on the left wall, and it doesn't look bad at all. I am going to email my husband this pic, thanks!!
