Yes they recently changed the law to allow PMI to be tax deductable.

Oh just so you know there are restrictions... based on when you bought. It's also only a temporary law.

It's annoying that the income limit for a family is $100,000. In Wyoming, that makes u a millionaire. In NY, it makes u middle class. I really don't understand why they don't adjust these things based on location. VERY ANNOYING!

Does the same go for MIP? (MIP essentially the same thing as PMI, just worded differently for FHA loans)
