newborn with congestion
DS woke up this morning w/congestion on his chest. is there anything i can do/give to him....he is miserable!!

Call the Ped and ask them. DS has had a little cold for about two weeks now. I took him to the Ped and she that as long as it's not in his chest he's ok. I have the humidifier in his room and I give him warm baths. I was told NO to Vicks rub b/c he's too young.
Hope he feels better!

Does it sound heavy in his chest?
If it does, I would call the ped.
If it just sounds like a little phlemg, you can try an ounce of water.

not heavy at all...sounds like phlem..i originally thought it was his nose but that is clear as can be
