Repost: Exercising
Im not sure if this has been asked before so if it has I apologize.
Does anyone know if it is harmful to work out hard while TTC? I have to admit, the whole m/c experience caused me to pack on about 10-15 lbs. About 2 weeks ago I weighed myself and cried for like an hour because I didnt realize it had gotten so bad.
Since then, I have been following a VERY strict diet and have been pushing myself hard at the gym like 4-5 days a week. Ive dropped the 10 lbs but still, then only puts me back to my original fatness
Obviously Id rather get PG and will stop this regime if it is interfering in anyway.
Thoughts? TIA!!

Re: Repost: Exercising
It is good to work out while TTC - I was told that it might actually benefit and help you in the end. I am nervous about exercising while pg - but they said that if you are someone who worksout ahead of the BFP, it is ok to continue your routine - minus the crunches and things along that line. I would love to loose about 20lbs before I get pg, to make up for the weight I would be adding onto my frame.

Congrats on losing all that weight!
Unless you're training for a marathon or a female body-building championship, you should be fine. My midwife told me to keep running (I do a few miles 2-3x a week). Just make sure you're eating healthy and drinking lots of water!
