Did anyone see this in GMA..News

I would like to see other people opinion on this case..

I see nothing wrong with bathtime photos of small children and think that they are in no way pornographic.

I am one of three girls, we're all fairly close in age. My sisters are 1 year apart and were naked all the time in the warmer weather when we were little and there was nothing inappropriate about it.

Wow... just wow.... How many of us have innocent pics of our DC, and they just happen to not be wearing clothes? I understand needing the law in place, but this was taken too far, IMO. By putting them on the Registry, they've been proven "guilty" without a trial, and their lives have been permanently scarred. Hopefully, their DC are young enough that they will recover.

I think that almost anyone (including the one judge who declared that there wasn't any malcontent involved) can tell the difference between parents taking innocent pics of their DC, and child porn.....

I don't know what to think.

I went to HS in FL with a ton of kids that grew up in nudist colonies. I did not really agree with it, but it was their lifestyle choice.
The picture taking makes it shady. Unless they develop pics at home, someone was going to see a naked 5 year old. I would not like that.

Maybe the 5 year old doesn't want anyone to have freedom shots of herself.

I have seen a bunch of naked 10 year old boys riding bikes together. Families skinny dipping together. But on the other side, most families were big time swingers...so it was definitely sexual from time to tme

It's hard to say without seeing the pictures.

I'd say the parents were dumb for having nude pictures of their children developed at a walmart.

I'm willing to bet that the pics were innocent, though.

The rest of the photos in the bunch would also hint at whether or not the kids were being posed for pornographic reasons, or they were just having fun.

I guess you can never be too careful though....

First off... Isn't that an invasion of privacy?

2nd- Its a bathtime photo. Did they expect the kids to be fully dressed?

People are ridiculous, & need to mind their business sometimes.

they couldnt post most of the pictures in the show because they are now consider pornographic but they post 4 pictures that I didnt see anything wrong with, I bet a lot of people have that type of pictures at home... I was surpise that without a trial they where put in the sex offender list (they are now remove from the list)

it is very hard to say with out viewing the photographs. I think there is a fine line of acceptability of photographing babies naked and photographing a five year old naked. What is okay for a baby is not okay for 5 year old (when nude.) But that being said these are parents of a child and as long as no pornographic (i can go into detail but rather not) actions were in the photograph then I really think Walmart needs to reconsider it's policy. Laying on a towel naked or being in a bath tub with one's siblings is just a cute shot not sexual, but then again my opinion might change if i viewed the photographs.

we all agree that child pornography does exist and is one of the worst wrongs in the world.

this is just crazy. people need to get their heads out of their a$$es and be vigilant about real wrongs going on in the world and not some bath-time pictures.

i think the parents should have known better than to have pictures of bathtime developed at Walmart.

i think we all know that Walmart has a less than liberal position on, well, everything! they were bound to overreact about a few harmless nude phots of children playing.

i hope the family wins this lawsuit. i am not in favor of frivolous lawsuits at all and in this case i think it's warranted.

idk maybe bc i am not a parent but i think 5yo is a bit old for the bathtime pictures. i do NOT think the parents had any intentions other than taking cute photographs BUT to me, 5 is too old for that and to trust some stranger to develop those pictures.

The sticking point seems to be the one photo they talk about with the girls laying on a towel, hugging each other. There's a fine line in these cases and perhaps it was because they were laying down that it caused alarm?

Anyway, on one hand, I think it's horrendous what they went through. Not to mention - the kid's emotions being taken away from their parents and medically examined for sexual assault!

On the other hand, I think times have changed and that there are a lot of people out there who get excitement out of such things. Look at the Garrido case. We know now that their parents were completely innocent in their actions, but maybe parents should think twice about having unclothed pictures of their kids developed or posted on the internet. No matter what the intent, there are sick bastards out there who look for these things.

Some people just live that way. Clothes are an option in the house. It's not my personal choice, but I know it exists.

Other countries consider Americans to be prude in that respect. Because we are so uptight about sexuality and nudity.

I feel bad for that family.

They have a problem with this but not with having little kids sew their sweatshirts!

I think its disgusting!!!! Taking kids away from their parents for a photo of 3 sisters hugging after a bath!!!!

I think not only should the family win the lawsuit, but the town should be responsible for monitoring these girls and whatever psychological damage inevitibly was done by yanking three children away from their parents for something that seems very loving.

I know I have tons of pics of my dd (3) naked in the bath- even with her cousin who is a year older. There is NOTHING sexual about that. And whoever thought the pictures were provocative- THEIR computer should be checked for child porn. I can't imagine how anyone could see what is described as provocative pictures.

Having not seen the missing photos, I can't comment on it. I worked in a photolab decades ago & we did turn photos over to the police. They were over dog fighting photos that someone brought in to get developed. The police asked for their info & when they came into the store, we had to stall them. The manager did call the police previously about a few customers re: child pornography.

I think it is EVERYONE'S responsiblity to report a crime or possible crime. I'd rather err on the side of caution where children are concerned.

I hate Walmart too -not for their photo policies but for their thousands of other employment violations. However, if it's to the extent where the CPS & the police didn't dismiss it, I don't think it was a simple as a few girls in a towel getting out of the bath.

From what it sounds like, these were innocent pictures. I had a friend take nudie shots of Cailen when he was 4mts old and in some he was spread eagle - I don't show them to anyone but I have kept them because they were cute little baby pictures. I have a million of his fat little tushie in the tub, the beach, after swimming, etc - I would be devastated if it was miscontrued and I lost him as a result of it. If these people took them with sexual intentions, why would they get them developed at Walmart? Wouldn't they want to keep something like that on the DL?????

I do like the fact that people are keeping a close watch on things like this...but this went too far. Their children were in protective custody for a month; the mother got suspended from her job for a year and they had their names put on the sexual offenders registry-come on now! I hope they sue and get money well deserved for what their family went through in the past year!
