I think I am Team Pink
I went for a sono the other day and I told the tech straight out I didn't want to know what it was. He said he would refer to it as he the entire time, so I was not prepared when he said, "And those are her eyes...". He had already mentioned that he checked the baby's genitalia and all was in order...
I am kind of annoyed. We knew with Juliette and Kristopher and I really did not want to know for this one. Not that I am 100% sure, but I am thinking girl. NOT THAT IT MATTERS EITHER, I just want a healthy baby! But I wanted the "IT'S A...!" factor just this once...

I would be so mad too! BUT, maybe he just gets into a groove of say him or her and said her without even thinking about it or relating it to what you're having.
You just keep on thinking team - your little one will be the most beautiful surprise when he/she makes her appearance, even if it does turn out to be a .

I was annoyed when my new doc listened to the doppler for the first time (I was 26 weeks) and he said it sounded like a girl to him, right after I just finsihed telling him we didn't want to know. I never told DH (or anyone) about this ... everyone thought I was having a boy too.

Re: I think I am Team Pink
Very similar thing just happened to us this morning at the dr...The tech ALWAYS refers to the baby as he or him...and said "She" once...and then quickly covered up saying that she didn't know what the baby was because the legs were crossed and she didn't check...I'm still not taking it as any kind of confirmation, but DH is like "She slipped!!!!"

Re: I think I am Team Pink
If its any consolation, I know some techs always refer to the baby as either 'he' or 'she' without really meaning it instead of 'it' or 'the baby'---I know ours did (we were team green)

Um... yay for E's FSIL?
It could have been just a general "she". And you can always "accidently" kick the sono tech shins. I thought all preggos were granted a temporary license for violence?
