Can temperature of formula (too cold) cause my infant's diahreea (sp?)
I say yes my mom says no. What do you think?

i say no. i am not a doctor, but i would think that once it goes through your DC's system it's the same temp as formula that was warmed.
i suppose it could cause them to spit up, but not have diarrhea.

I used to always warm DS'b bottles, but now he only wants them cold..There was no change with him.

I dont think so. Ill tell you why....
DD had cronic constipation throughout her whole infancy...and I always gave her her formula cold.

my ped said no. However he claims cold formula can cause gas. My DC has had it room temp or cold and there was no difference.

No. I have books written by peds t hat say warming is not necessary.
I also give DD ice cold bottles (as well as warm) and never see a difference.
