HELP! is this a + OPK??
Okay...so this is my first month using OPKs, and I tested in the morning, because that's what the directions said...but everyone else has been saying that you should test in the afternoon???
Anyway, this is my test this morning...is this a + OPK??? Or since it's a bit light, do you think it will get darker if i re-test this afternoon?? Image Attachment(s):

That looks like a negative to me. The test line is lighter than the control line. I always thought you were supposed to use the OPKs in the late morning/afternoon - not FMU.

exactly.
the fact that you have a semi-dark line probably means that you will get your positive OPK today. i would hold your urine for at least 4 hours, don't drink too much, and test anytime after 12.
in order for it to be positive the test line has to be AS dark or DARKER than the control line.

okay, that's what i was thinking. i have NO idea why the instructions in the box would say to test in the morning...since everything else i've read says that the LH surge happens during the day...i will retest this afternoon, and HOPEFULLY it will be a definite positive :) Thanks!!!!

That's negative. With those OPK's I test in the morning and when I get home from work. I had the same result as you this morning. When you have a surge, the test line is clearly darker than the control line. I used the same OPK's with baby #1.
