Is it taking anyone else an extremely long time to ReFi
I have been waiting months to refinance they say they are so back logged, just wondering if anyone else experiencing very long wait times

Yes, started in April and still not done. Our rate is still locked in at an expense to CitiBank not us.

YES!!!!!!!!!!! 
I thought it was just me. I just had to send them another 2 consecutive pay stubs because the ones I sent were 2-months old. Everything is done, all they are waiting for is a letter from the bank I have my HELOC with and they are saying that takes another 15-20 days, but seriously it was easier buying a house.

as an insider....the banks are extremely backed up
and they also made cut backs to staff
everything is taking really long - mods were taking me 30 days when I started doing them
now- 90-120 is average!

Mine has been actually quicker than they said (estimated 60 days). I started mid-May and my closing date is June 30.

yes, us too we are re fin & wanted to do construction , its like been so long , the appriaser finally came by 2 weeks ago, they told us in a month we should have the $ ,,

That's ridiculous! We had our appraisal done on a Friday and got the number by the following Wednesday!

We completed our application in March and just closed on Friday. The delay was mostly due to the subordination agreement with our 2nd mortgagee.

I was told by a mortgage broker this week that refi's are VERY backed up and all new mortgages are coming first.

My re-fi with Wells took less than 30 days. The lawyers did tell me that they were really backed up though.

Same here. We closed on our refi with Wells Fargo in under a month.

We closed on our Refi before our 45 day rate lock expired. We're with BFCU.
I hear TFCU is taking an average of 4 months.

We locked in April 3rd and closed May 22nd. Our rate was only good for 60 days, so we had to close within that time period. This was with Wells Fargo.
