Anyone take Baby Aspirin and Breastfeed?
I am sorry to barge in on this board, but I am a soon to me mommy who was planning on breast feeding but it just dawned on me that I am on baby aspirin for thrombophelia. High Risk wants me on it through delivery and about 6 weeks after.
I never thought tonight. Would being on it be contraindicated in Breast feeding???
Anyone have any experience?

I did, but now that you mention it I never even thought to ask my Dr. about that  He did know I was BFing.

Nope just a baby aspirin once per day.
Hmmmmm. Not sure then. Sorry. I was on baby aspirin and lovenox, but the doc said that once i deliver i can be just on lovenox, no aspirin. Check with the doc.
Do you mind my asking what type of thrombophilia you have? I like to compare myself to other pregnant women with clotting disorders b/c, although the doc put me on lovenox, I am not entirely convinced I need it.
