First of all to you, maybe she has a UTI or something, I think that from what you are describing, the hole that you are seeing might be her Urethra. You don't always see it.

I think all girls have two openings...the birth canal and the urethra (where urine is discharged from.)

Sounds pretty normal to be but it's always better to be safe then sorry.

I am a little confused about what you are asking. Do you mean her vaginal opening?

My DD is 5 mths old and her vaginal opening is very clear to me. I make sure to clean her good and it should be visibly open when you clean in there.

My DD is 2 also and doesn't like to be touched down there either. From what I have heard from other moms, it is normal to feel like that at that age.

She could possibly have a yeast infection. You were smart to make an appointment just to be sure.

Hang in there, I'm sure it is nothing.
