Re: to all the buyers please help us sellers
I have no clue anymore where we are looking, we seem to be looking in so many areas right now. all north shore suffolk east of huntington all the way out to port jeff and stony brook!
our minimums 3Beds 1.5 baths usable garage no busy rd, no train tracks in front or behind preferably no corner lot taxes under 12k per year
we are even considering nassau but we can't seem to find an area we like that the taxes are lower then 12k, or the house price is lower then our max so it makes up for the difference
ultimately we would buy in Kings Park, but we are finding other areas that are very nice and we get a lot more for the money!

Re: to all the buyers please help us sellers
I'm open to any good area in nassau county, I would LOVE to spend less than 400 but willing to go up to 450K. Taxes , less than 9000. I RUN from paneling and bedrooms that have the pointed ceilings (some capes have that). I would like to see some updates in the kitchen and bathroom.

We're only looking in Floral Park Village or Williston Park (Herricks SD). We love those towns and agree that school district and proximity to the city are the most important things to both of us. We're fine with less house/more of a location that works for us with our commutes into the City.
3 Bedrooms
1.5 baths (at least) with one of those bathrooms on the main floor.
Side street only.
Plenty of parking in the driveway (can't park on the street overnight in FP).
We're looking for a well maintained, move in condition house that does not require any major renovations for the next couple of years. Part of me likes the idea of renovating (I watch HGTV all night long!) but I just feel like we'll be too broke to do anything for the next few years and I suppose we are going to end up with whatever is there for more than a few years. (Refinishing floors, carpeting or painting is okay).
I know my DH would like a fireplace, fenced yard and a finished basement. I would love a home office for those days when I work from home. Hopefully, we can get all that within our budget.
I would love Central Air and a Sun Room or 3 season room too, but I don't think we're going to be able to get that in our price range! That's on the wish list!
Yes, great idea for a bump. We closed on a house in Floral Park this summer! We got a great deal on a house that had everything we needed, including the fireplace and finished basement that DH wanted and I got my CAC and a screened in porch/three season room!!!
