I dont know what to do anymore...

I have had it with my dogs. I have 2 small yorkies who are extremely jealous of my 2 yr. old son. They constantly crap all over my house. Not only is it disgusting but it's embarrassing if I have people over. I am sick of picking up dog poop on my floors. I have tried everything except for basically keeping them in their crates all day unless it is time to go to the bathroom but then all they will do is bark. I am at a loss. DH wants to get rid of them and part of me does too. I have spent so much $$$ training these dogs and it just doesnt work. DS at leasts walks now but baby #2 is due in september and will eventually be crawling on the floors my dogs are crapping all over If they are still jealous of DS after 2 yrs it's only going to get worse when baby #2 comes.

They were outside ALL day today had plenty of time to poop...nope, my boy dog came inside and crapped on my dining room floor

This is a bad month for dog owners! There are a few other threads here about this same problem in the past week or two, I hope those suggestions help you.

When they go out, do you make sure they go by staying with them? My dogs will just run and play unless I stay with them and say GO POTTY and watch them go. They are just like little kids playing and need my attention otherwise they don't go.

Do you exercise them (take them for walks) or just let them out in the yard?

I really don't know if it would help, but I'm wracking my brain for anything that might make a difference for you - and I know my two dogs' behavior in general is like night and day when they get their exercise and when they don't. And they have free access to the backyard all day long via doggy door, but playing on their own out there isn't intense or structured enough to make the difference. We have to actually walk them, and we do it now every single day because of the terrors they turn into when we don't. If you don't walk them on a regular basis already, I'm wondering if your dogs would be more likely to "use the facilities" while on a walk, and be more obedient with the training at home too. If you do already walk them, then I don't know what else to suggest...
