So, DH and I have been having numerous conversations about when to TTC because I want to give it a go sooner than he does.
Today, we were in the car and he said he feels like he is warming up to the idea of TTC and is starting to really see himself as a father. I was completely since we just spoke about it the other night and he was all about waiting at least a year.
I am just SO hopeful that this means he will be up for starting sooner because I am so excited to TTC. I have to also add that I am a little concerned about how my body will take to it. I basically NEVER had a normal period and while every single gyno I have been to said I will have NOOOOOOO problems, I am always at least a little fearful that it might not happen right away. (DH keeps saying he thinks I will be pleasantly surprised and we will get pg right away )
But anyway, I hope this means we're getting somewhere in this process! Oh, I should add that today at the mall I jokingly admired a baby stroller at one of the department stores and when a woman walked over to ask if we had any questions, he asked if the cushions/liner in it was machine washable GO DH!
congrats!! i am in the same boat with you as far as waiting for DH to be ready....i am hoping it happens by our 2 year anniversary in september.. he keeps telling me he's warming up to it - but in his mind that still means waiting ANOTHER year to TTC on top of however long it takes to get pregg and 9 months of pregg!! lol
