Need help planning a wedding...
My BFF is planning her wedding.
This will be her second (well, third actually- but that's a long story) wedding and she's keeping it small.
She'd like to have her wedding on the beach with a small reception someplace seaside.
Does anyone have any recommendations anywhere in Nassau or Suffolk county?
TIA!

The Snapper Inn in Oakdale offers a cocktail reception under a tent on the lake. It's cocktails and apps - perfect for a 3rd wedding. We looked there but was too small for the amount of guests we were having. If I could have cut the list - I would have had it there hands down. Gorgeous!!

Lessings also offers the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow. Link to Pavilion

Snapper Inn is beautiful, Captain Bills in Bayshore has different sized rooms to choose from, and the Riverview in Oakdale is great too. GL HTH

We had my shower & sweet 16 at the Snapper Inn at the outdoor tent...it was awesome. I love the snapper inn.
Captain Bills is where we had our engagement party, highly recommend.
There is also the Riverview.

Re: Need help planning a wedding...
Sounds a bit like my wedding.
I got married at the Fire Island Lighthouse (not on the beach) and then had the reception at the Snapper Inn.
I highly recommend both!
